Cheap and Crooked

The lighting element of the lamp is great. While easy to put together, three different parts were bent out of the box so they did not screw in all the way; therefore the pole is a bit crooked and awkward. Since it's between a couch and a wall, I'll leave it for now but I'll be getting a new lamp when I need to move my furniture and won't be getting this one. Customer service for Globe Electric was not all that helpful either.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How tall is this lamp, including top shade? Trying to determine if it will fit in a lower ceilinged basement apartment. Specs say 6 ft, but does that include top shade? If someone could measure their lamp from floor to top of shade and get back to me that would be great. Thanks.
