Built with a high-efficiency brushless motor and a 20-in wide intake, the Greenworks 60V 20 in. Single-Stage Brushless Snow Thrower quickly clears driveways, sidewalks and patios. Crank chute-adjustment lever puts the user in control when re-directing the angle the snow thrower throws from 180 degrees side to side. Easy to set up out of the box. Went through two snow storms in the first week. It did exactly what I hoped. Easy to maneuver can be used for sidewalks, patios and driveways.

used twice and stopped working

I recently purchased this product and only got to use it twice and it has stopped working already and only worked with fresh snow.

Hello alfscats. We are sorry to hear that your starting is not starting. The cold temperature can affect the battery performance. Lithium-Ion batteries can be safely used from temperatures ranging from -17 degrees to 45 degrees Celsius. A battery may not properly start if its temperatures is -17˚C or lower. If your machine does not start, remove the battery from snow thrower and place the battery on the charger and allow to charge for 10 minutes to warm the battery. Remove the battery from charger and install in snow thrower for use. Also check that there is no moisture on the leads of the battery pack. It is possible you may have released the safety lock out button too quickly. While, pressing the safety switch button with one hand, use your other hand to simultaneously pull the bail leaver towards you. Once the machine powers on, release the safety switch button and proceed with operation. The snow thrower can only be started by pressing the safety switch button first, followed by squeezing the bail leaver; reverse operation will not start the machine.

Q: Will a greenworks 80volt battery from a lawn mower that I bought work. I thought these batteries were interchangeable.

A: Hi Mo Grady. Thank you for your question. No, you will not be be able to use the 80V batteries in a 60V unit. The batteries are interchangeable among the same voltage line. You can use any Greenworks 80V unit with your 80V batteries. They will not work in any 60V unit, it must be 80V. We hope this helped!

A: Hi tvgpal, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, no. Your 80V battery will not be compatible in non-80V units. You are able to use the 80V battery in any Greenworks 80V products. The 60V line requires the same battery platform across the units, as the battery size and storage may not be compatible in different voltages. We hoped this helped!

A: Hello Afaq, thank you for your question. This unit does not come with a battery and charger as it is a tool only. When a tool is listed as "Tool Only", this indicates that a battery and charger are not included. Tool-only units are ideal for customers who already own a tool in the same voltage platform and do not require an additional battery or charger. If this would be your first tool in this voltage platform we would recommend that you purchase a unit with a battery and charger included. The warranty for this product is a 4-year repair warranty.
