Perfect snowblower for seniors

It works fantastic, has plenty of power for everyday snowfalls, and is not heavy at all, making it very easy to maneuver. The battery life is excellent and lasts long. This snowblower makes winter cleanup so much easier, and I’m very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend!

Q: Can the battery be removed to bring indoors to keep warm?

A: Yes, they use removable batteries. These should be both stored separately from the blower & charged in a heated building (not an unheated garage) when not in use. Takes a second to pop the batteries in & out.

Q: Can it be used on a cottage roof? We have an isolated, off-grid cottage. My husband cross-country skis in to clear the snow off the roof. Would this be OK on a roof? Is it light enough to get it up there? Any down sides that those of you who have used this model can see?

A: Bring it inside! the cold is not good for batteries to be left out in, even if it is on the charger.

Q: When you say only recommended up to -20, do you really mean it won't work well below -20? Is it not recommended for a Canadian winter then? The winter temps frequently drop below -20 in this area, but it does at most of the other areas mentioned as well.

A: Hello there, Lithium-Ion batteries can be safely used from temperatures ranging from -20 degrees to 45 degrees Celsius. Battery may not properly start if it’s temperatures is -20˚C or lower. If unit does not start remove battery from snow thrower. Place battery on charger and allow to charge for 10 minutes to allow battery to warm. Remove from charger and install in Snow thrower for use. Q: Is it ok to leave the electric snowblower in carport over the winter, batteries will be kept indoors.

A: Hello Rick, We do advise that the unit be kept in an enclosed environment, such as a fully enclosed garage or shed. Even a small amount of moisture getting into the unit will potentially cause damages.
