Nice Bedroom light

Was easy to set up. Alexa detected it without any additional setup once I connected it to the Globe app. I'm using the shades of white on a dim setting for the bedroom. Checked out the colours that were nice, but not useful for everyday life.

A: Les ampoules Globe sont conçues pour résister à des températures allant jusqu'à -20 Celsius Cependant, l'usage à l'extérieur peut provoqué une perte de connectivité avec l'application de l'appareil mobile. Soit suite à une interruption d'alimentation électrique de l'ampoule (parfois), ou d'une coupure de transmission du signal WiFi domestique. Q: Anyone have their light just stop working? Mine is stuck in a "fast light colour change" mode...... Have never used any kind of smart phone anything with it.... just turned it in and clicked the button for colour choice... Help please - thanks

A: No physical remote, you download the app and your phone becomes the remote. You can also program it to turn on/off or change colour at certain times of day using your phone.

A: I have not tried to use the bulbs in pot lights, but I see no reason why they couldn't be used there. They are LED bulbs so do not generate any heat. The only potential problem I could see is that they need to communicate with the LAN in your house in order to respond to on/off or colour change requests. The metal in the pot light receptacle may interfere with that signal,.and cause them to be less responsive. If that happens, it might be helpful to have a LAN booster located in an electrical outlet under the pot lights so that the signal could be better received.

Q: Hi. Can you tell me if the programmable LED bulb #052-9760-2 will work in an outdoor porch ceiling? I constantly lose the programming. Is there an outdoor compatible alternative that will work properly?

A: I had the same programming problem. Globe customer support advised me to return the bulb. I have zero confidence in it. I ended up installing a TP-Link wall switch and used a regular LED bulb in my exterior fixture. That has worked well.
