Even my electrician cannot program that thing!

We bought the heater: 90% off! What a deal! My wife and I could not make it work. Came home: Call my electrician, and guess what: he could not figure it out either. Said that he would go on the Web to get the info. Never came back! What a nightmare! Don t be cheap: buy an on/off unit at regular price!

I have a couple of post-grad degrees, but that didn't help me when I was trying to figure out how to program this thing. Complex and illogical. Then, the display just died out of the blue and this thing just went in the garbage can. Buy a ConvectAir. Have one that's been working flawlessly for six years.

I bought this unit and used it for about a week. Seemed great. Then I noticed it wasn't working. Display on thermosat was set to hold the room temp at 18 degrees. The room temp was 15 degrees and the heater would'nt cut in. Try to reprogram thermostat. Unpluged it etc. Just gave up and brought it back for refund. Good thing Canadian Tire has a return counter!

Q: would it heat up a one car garage?
i have a small garage thats insulated and am looking for a cheep heater that would heat it up decent for the winter

A: If the garage is well insulated...probably. However this is a 120 volt 1500w unit so it will be quite the "power Sucker". You probably won't be able to use any other devices on that circuit.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Si Hydro-Québec charge $0.10 le Kilowatt
Cout à l'heure = $0.15

Q: It is normal for the Garrison Convection Heater (1500W Plug-In 120V) to hum while heating?
I purchased a Garrison Convection Heater (1500W Plug-In 120V) for use in my home office. I didn't hear it initial but now the unit makes a humming sound while heating. I want to make sure that this is normal and that my unit is not defective.

I have one that I would like to relocate in my home but I've lost the manual. Is there one I can view online?
