A: Windshield adhesive metal foot base. The mount leg on the camera is magnetic. This makes removal very easy if you want to transfer to another vehicle. I prefer this to suction cups for two reasons: 1. More secure and not affected by heat. 2. Smaller foot print allows more flexibility to locate at the edge of the windshield.

A: Hi Adrian, Yes, the DriveSmart 55 does have a micro-SD card slot. In regards to BRMPBC, if you are referring to the Backroad Map Books mapping, you would need to confirm compatibility with them.

A: Yes, this device includes a traffic receiver vehicle power cable in the box to receive digital traffic updates. For more live traffic updates, you can also pair the DriveSmart 55 with the Garmin Drive app (free) on your smartphone.

Q: Does this gps has a dual screen orientation when approaching an exit?

A: Yes - as you approach an exit the screen will split in two. On the left you'll continue seeing you current location, on the right you'll see an image of the upcoming exit and which lane you need to be in.
