We moved into a condo in an older building, with older windows, and didn’t realize how drafty the north facing kitchen window was until the first cold snap. We remembered using this type of insulation kit in our house years ago, so got this to give it a try. It was easy to install, and went up quickly. It has cut down on the cold air coming from the window a good deal, and it is more comfortable standing in front of the window at the sink washing the dishes now!

Q: I want to seal off a old fireplace. Will this product work on ceramic tiles?

1 Answer

A: I'm not sure how well it would adhere to the ceramic to stay long term, and also not sure how well it would seal to any grout lines. Might want to research that a little bit first.
