Not worth the money

We had this lamp for about 3 years and it was always coming lose at the connection on the pole and often standing crooked. Noticed it was really leaning the other day and went to move it to straighten it up and the whole base fell apart. Lucky I noticed it or it likely would have fallen on the nearby glass table. It's not repairable so I'm now shopping for a new lamp.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Solid buy

We bought this to replace a torchiere that refused to stand up straight whatever we did. This one has a wider tube and a heavy solid base, so is excellent from that point of view. Looses two half stars for lack of features: both lamps are controlled by a single 4-way switch - we would have preferred two independent switches so that, for instance, one could leave the top torchiere on while turning the side lamp on and off. Also it seems to come in only one colour - a rather dark brown with brown-tinted glass. Ok for us, but might be out of place in some decors.

Beautiful Floor Lamp - worth it

I bought this floor lamp a year ago and it's still in mint condition. Very economical and best of all it looks beautiful with champagne and bronze colors - matches my home completely

A: The on/off switch is on the long stem of the lamp, hear the 'reading' light.
