3 years agoA: Just put him in the sun! Also get creative, a little potted plant or plastic drink cup placed in his hands won’t affect his charge ;•}

Q: How do you "charge" him?? I've put mine outside, he's in the sun... but nothing happens when it gets dark. Do I need to do something special?

Q: I have several of the metal outside turtles and an owl and green tree shaped one. My question is can you buy replacement lights for them, mine went out after only one summer. I would like to know where I can get the replacement cartridges for the lights
3 years agoA: I have had several animal shaped solar lights from Canadian Tire over the years. If you open the turtle up and remove the LED light by bending the 3 tabs up, you can pull the LED light assembly out and expose a battery. Replace the battery with a new one for solar light which Canadian sells and you should have your light working again.
