They hang the shower curtains - sort of

I bought these hooks because the part with the knob you hang the curtains on curves up, lessening the chance the curtains will fall off (hopefully). Two major flaws, though. 1. The curvature of every single hook hanging from the curtain rod is different. A few bend in as they should, most just bend wide and hang loose, causing that section of the curtain to be lower. What kind of quality control is that, when every hook is different? 2. Naturally, I tried to bend one of the loose ones in a bit, and guess what? It broke. Cheap junk. I'm returning these.
