Lit twice and now wont at all. No obstruction in tube. For Living service a waste of time. Will never shop at Canadian Tire again. They know its defective. No wonder it was on sale.

Great heater...poor instructions

This heater is great once it’s working. It’s stylish, easy to setup and gives off lots of heat. BUT....the igniter needs to be unscrewed and a AAA battery needs to be installed otherwise the little red rubber push button does nothing other than indents. Also, the gas line needs to be purged for about 2-3 mins (hold in button in PILOT setting) otherwise it will not light. You will faintly smell the gas and a faint “Ssssssss” sounds from heater area will let you know It’s ready to be lit. Once those 2 steps are done, sit back, pour a drink and enjoy.

Yes, I recommend this product.

  • Fine print of instructions...

Will not light consistently - frustrating

Poor design. It's a constant struggle to make this unit light. Instructions don't assist. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. The last time, yesterday, it worked for 5 minutes (ignore pilot light - it never works), and then I tried for 30 minutes to get it lit again. Waste of time.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Piece of Junk

We purchased this heater in August 2015 and it worked fine for the first few months and then it was getting harder and harder to light, then it wouldn't stay lit. April 2016 it went to the dump. Pays to spend the extra money and get something that will last longer then 6 months.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Keep heater area clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline, paint thinner, cleaning solvents and other flammable vapours and liquids. Do not use heater in areas with high dust content. Minimum heater clearances from combustible materials: three feet (3’) from the sides and two feet (2’) from the top. • Never store propane near high heat, open flames, pilot lights, direct sunlight, other ignition sources or where temperatures exceed 120° F (49°C). • Propane vapours are heavier than air and can accumulate in low places. Keep flammables at least three feet (3’) from the sides and two feet (2’)from the top. Keep gasoline and other flammable liquids and vapours well away from heater. • Store the propane cylinder outdoors in a well ventilated space out of reach of children. Never store the propane cylinder in an enclosed area (house, garage, etc.). If heater is to be stored indoors, disconnect the propane cylinder for outdoor storage.
