Didn’t work, store wouldn’t accept return

I bought these online and they didn’t work. I live out of town so had to make a special trip to a Canadian tire store to return them. Apparently I missed the return date for Christmas items by one day so was SOL. Not very impressed with the customer service, I was returning them because they were defective so I don’t think the return date should apply.

Horrible lights. Bought 8 strings of lights and only 2 of 8 worked out of the box. Spent 2 days putting them up only to have them not work when I turned them on.
