Love it. Works great

Had this installed by a professional installer. Wasn't a quick install like other fans I've had. Once installed, the remote control receiver unit (inside the fan) didn't work. Installer replaced it with the one from my old fan and it worked, so the original part was faulty. Once re-installation was complete, now the lights wouldn't work. The installer confirmed there was power going to the cylindrical lighting unit, but none making it through to the light socket itself. So what they call the "light kit" in their manual was also a dud. The light kit part was an easy clip-in swap, so I called customer service for a new "light kit." They said they had no replacement part (???) but they would refund my money if I took it down and returned it to the store. The installation money I paid, which was more dollars than the fan itself, was going to be my loss. Horrible.

I normally do not write reviews, however am writing this review to warn others, so that they do not go through the same trouble I went through. Based on my experience of installing a few fans in the past, this fan was the more difficult to install, as instructions are not very clear. Down-rod which comes with the fan is very short, after installing, I realized that the fan was not blowing any air, as the distance between the ceiling and fan blades was less than the recommended 8", creating a vortex. Purchased a 12" long universal down-rod, to drop the fan down, only to realize that it does not fit. Canadian Tire does not sell down-rods, contacted manufacturer to purchase a longer down-rod, but was told they do not carry longer down-rods. Though the Down-rod supplied with this fan is 3/4" in diameter, universal down-rods sold by big box stores will not fit. After searching online and other stores, I was unable to find a longer size down-rod that will fit. Now I am stuck with a fan that only makes a noise, without blowing any air. If you intend to install this fan in a room which has a sloped ceiling, it may not work. Fan blades are poorly manufactured, right out of the box they are not balances, making the fan wobble, if you intend on installing this fan be prepared to spend time in trying to balance it. The E12 bulbs included in the package, are very dim (5W) and yellow (2700K), making them unsuitable for use in any room. Very limited choice of E12 bulbs, which are very expensive.

Very attractive and easy to install. We were so happy to find this fan after purchasing our first one five years ago! This is not a replacement and was intended for the master bedroom. Our first fan is used often throughout the summers and we have never had any issues to date.

This fan was on sale at 65% off! As it turns out, it’s because it is discontinued. It’s a great looking fan and was a good deal but, it had the worst instruction manual I ever seen and Ive installed my share of ceiling fans! Lousy diagrams and badly detailed. Assembling the ceiling fan was also a nightmare as the parts installed together in a very finicky way! I took me three hours to put together and actually install up to the ceiling! There were curse words involved……… I gave this product three stars, as I looks great and works well. Just be prepared for an annoying installation. 🫤
