Terrible in the sun

If your tiles will be in the sun - DO NOT buy these. Yes, they are very easy to instal, but everyday when the sun hits them, the tiles bubble right up. Terrible. I have to replace them with something else. I've emailed both Canadian Tire and Multy about this, and neither are addressing the issue.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can they take the weight? I thinking of putting my law tractor with a snow blower on them. Will the wheel chains destroy them?

  • A: We installed these tiles in our garage and we parked our vehicles on them without any issues. One vehicle had studded tires. Very strong tiles.

Q: Anyone else experiencing mold under these tiles? I have them in my basement gym but obviously need something with airflow. I love the look until I lifted them and saw what appears to be black mold at first I thought it was colour from the tile.

  • A: YES!!! These are the most god awful tiles. They drink up any water spilled and are "water resistant" so that means it's going underneath them. They're disgusting and I absolutely know that anyone posting a review has just instantly taken a picture of when they first installed it. Save your money and buy literally anything else other than jigsaw floor tiles.

  • A: These tiles can be cut with an exacting knife and reined to fit. That is what I did in my downstairs laundry room. You should have no need to glue them.

Q: I installed these in my garage, they went down easy, and look great. But I am having a serious issue with the tiles, the tiles are buckling when they get warm with the warmer weather, I bought 59 boxes of these tiles, and wondering if I can return them?

  • A: My installation is in a north facing garage and I have had no problem. During installation it is recommended to leave 1/2 space along the edge of each wall to allow for expansion

Q: What are these tiles made from?

  • A: An apparently identical product states 98% recycled rubber and 2% polymer. They are not porous and do not appear to absorb liquids, as far as I can tell, though water will seep down where the tiles join. The joining edges are precise. VERY robust material blend, though easy to cut with a mat knife! It's a great, resilient surface for a dog training space, which is what I will be using it for.
