    This is pretty good quality. I was a bit disappointed the post was not in one piece. My 17 year old unboxed and put it together in about 10 minutes. I really like the style. Looks good.

    Bought it yesterday Dec. 18 2019. The lamp shade requires assembly but not a big deal. It does look nice. I bought it because of the bell- shaped shade. I am happy with it, but I can't give it a 10 because of the Styrofoam packaging. What is wrong with newsprint for packaging?

    Had to replace a floor lamp that had finally given up the ghost. This is not a high-quality lamp, which I expected for the price, but closely matched the one I was replacing (and I saved the shade). The base seems sturdy, which is a plus. However, took me about 1/2 hour to get the pieces screwed together, as the threads of the various pieces are all crooked. But for an inexpensive light, that sits in a corner and gets used only rarely, it does the trick. PS took longer to work my way through the packing materials, and clean it up, than it did to get the lamp put together .. hate the way products such as this are packaged :(

    Q: I purchased this lamp several years ago. The lamp has stopped working, I took it apart and noticed one of the wires was out of the connector. I’m having a very hard time trying to get the last piece off located just above bolt. How do I get this off?

    • A: The top can be unscrewed. The 2 or 3 post will all unscrew from each other. The base then will unthread from the bottom post.
