I was very careful to check which voltage I needed before buying these, and like many other people, found them to burn out immediately. They just don’t seem to work. I would return them but I used a few in the pack. I won’t buy them again.

Rip off!

Super annoyed how expensive these are relative to buying a whole new string of 3 candy cane lights that have a total of 36 lights. Most of my string's lights are burned out. But if I buy 7 packs of these replacement bulbs that is over $20 whereas you can buy a whole new set of 3 candycane lights for about $11. This just encourages yet more plastic and electronic waste. I also don't understand why they don't make these candycane lights in LED. I am never buying these candycane lights again!!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Used the 3.5v replacement bulb on an old 6v set because I needed to match the resistance of the old set with the replacement bulb to work without burning out.

Q: Purchased 151-3800-8 - 3.5V ForLiving bulbs to go on a string rated 3.5V they flash and burn out instantly. I still had a couple of the previous brand that you used to carry Emerald 3.5V SuperBright and they work fine. What's up?

A: Hello mitwtim, thank you for telling us about your experience. The For Living Mini Replacement Bulbs, 3.5V are 3.5 volt, 0.12 amp, 0.42 watt bulbs. They are designed for use in groups of 35 serial lights (120 volts / 35 bulbs is approximately 3.5 volts per bulb). Please check your stands to confirm they are sets of 35 lights in series arranged in parallel, if you have 70 or 105 count strands.
