Doesn't stand straight

Very disapointed with this one. I thought I was getting something that would at the very least stand straight on all four of it's legs. But, after construction, the shelves where twisting around

A: I have a correction to my answer just below. The 3/8" threaded nipple fit the sample rod that I took to the store but there was a problem when I took it back to put the unit together. The 3/8" nipple is a little too small and won't "take" on the second rod. The 1/2" nipple is too wide. There was nothing in between, no 7/16" nipple,so perhaps it need some sort of metric one, but that isn't offered at the store I went to . I made it work by wrapping kleenex around the nipples, but if you are forewarned, you can buy an use that white tape like stuff that wraps around things that have lost their threading.

A: I believe they have changed the design of this product. I bought a pair of these shelves a few years ago....maybe 2010, and they stacked. I bought a pair this year (2016) and they DO NOT stack. The shelves used to come with a 'connector' piece that allowed you to screw two units together. And the rods were all open-ended, so they could be screwed together. Now, no connector piece and the top of the top rod is sealed with a black cap that does not come off - therefore no connecting capabilities. I will also state that the picture on the box does not match the product. It does not show the black cap that is on the top of the top rod. If you look at the picture on the box you might think (as I did), that you could stack two units. NOPE.

Q: HOW MANY THREADED CONNECTORS SHOULD THERE BE IN EACH PACKAGE? I ONLY GOT TWO CONNECTORS. PRODUCT # 68-0324-0 3 TIER BLACK WIRE SHELVING UNIT BY "ORGANIZE EVERYDAY".

A: Two is the correct number for each package. If you buy two units, you'll have a total of 4 connectors (one for each leg). Since this isn't designed to be stacked with more than 2 units this isn't an issue.
