Only one side stays up after a month so I have to leave closed. Not very impressed and don't have time to return. So it gets a one star because it can't get 0 stars

Q: Can these cellular shades be cut to a precise width?

A: You can trim these blinds with some effort. Pull the blind tensioner cord inside the top rail and secure it with binder clamps. This allows you to shift the cellular shade fabric left or right so you can trim it with a snap-off blade utility knife like an olfa, but it should have a minimum blade depth of 1" so the blade won't flex and the cut will be straight and clean. Cut the fabric with the blind laying on its side and make sure the fabric is clamped tightly on both sides of the cut line. The plastic rails can be cut on a compound miter saw with a 140 plus tooth blade. When cutting is complete, remove the binder clamps from the tensioner cord.
