These lights are a scam and poor money grab! I am surprised that Canadian Tire is still allowed to sell this garbage.
We bought a few over the years, and this year, we decided that enough is enough. We had to cannibalize almost two entire strings to replace the bulbs on the other ones we have. The lights were working perfectly when we took them down after Christmas, and they were stored in a storage bag within our condo. For some reason, a gazillion of them just broke for no apparent reason while doing nothing.
We will now be ordering new ones on the Internet and street clear of this useless product. Canadian Tire should just throw them all in a big dumpster!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Cheap product, won’t last

I bought six boxes of these string lights. All of them have burnt out less than 2 years in. I tried changing fuses and still no luck. Invest in a better quality string light.

Q: Does the entire string of lights(#151-3468-0) go out if one bulb is burnt ?

A: Although I'm no expert in electric circuits, if the bulbs burn out in the bigger sockets at the beginning and middle of the strands, then more of the string will go out. Other than that, if one bulb burns out, no, the entire strand stays lit. Stay on top of burnt out bulbs and your lights will last a very long time.
