Q: can I use these outdoors on balcony railings

A: Yes,bought these 1 year ago I have them on a timer and happy to say has worked every night since hooking them up Only have to adjust timer when daylight changes……love them and intend to buy more.

Q: How do you fasten the lights to the Christmas tree branches. The older version of many years ago had fasteners to tighten the lights to each branch.

A: The clips suggested by the Can Tire team are for OUTDOOR lights to clip them to gutters etc. They are far too big for use on a Christmas tree, that and the box of clips is more expensive than the lights themselves!
