Purchased 4 boxes of these lights and before installation I thought I would take a look at the reviews since these lights are packaged on a spool. Many reviews were consistent re: Lights not working, every second strand etc not working. Thankfully I checked the lights prior to unwrapping the plastic from the spool. I was able to make a small slice in the plastic to get to the plug and plug it in. 2out of the 4 spools I purchased didnt work- every second strand was off or not illuminated. 50 percent defective. So I returned them all. The lights look amazing but wasnt going to take the chance returning the defective sets and trying to get 2 new working sets. Past reviews also mentioned lights stopped working after a year... heavy risk for over $200 in lights for me if I have to return and purchase more next year!
