Standard good quality incandescent icicle lights.

Your basic incandescent icicle lights. Pretty standard set of lights and quality appears the same as other brands. I leave mine up all year round and every winter I might have to replace one strip of lights and add a few fresh hooks to hold them up as the hooks get brittle. They are nice and bright. As others have said it takes maybe 10 minutes to get out of the box and stretch the lights out. Some suggest a hair dryer but I also found that over a bit of time on your house they start to droop down properly. Overall a good looking reasonably priced light. After a few years you may have a section that burns out. Not a problem because you can easily swap out one section. But the key is to replace any burned out lights before this happens. Keep old sections to repair or for spare bulbs.

Straight icicles.

To get the icicles to hang straight, pull them tight and use a heat gun or blow dryer to warm up the wires. After they straighten, remove the heat and let them cool straightened out :)
