Neck doesn't stay in place

The neck doesn't stay in the position you bend it to. Additionally it keeps bending / folding down with the weight of the cover/shade. Returning as the quality is disappointing.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: It can be used with any bulb that fits the medium-base socket (the most common base for incandescent bulbs), that fits inside the shade, and that consumes ≤ 60 watts. The shade is relatively capacious. If your UVB bulb is like most CFL bulbs, it will work fine.
