Don't buy this patio heater!

I am writing to tell you that this outdoor patio heater, purchased last June at your store, is substandard. From the moment it was put together it was difficult to ignite. Halfway through the summer the red starter button stopped working. Our handyman showed us how to start it manually but it was still difficult to start. We ended up using it approximately six times last summer. This June, it was clear the heater had rusted to the point that it couldn’t be started by any method. Our handyman took it apart and brought it directly to the dump. What a complete waste of money. As customers, we expect compensation and an explanation.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Garbage. Stopped working completely after 4 uses. Never was easy to light.

I wish I would have listened to the reviews. I purchased this in September and have missed the return deadline. Please listen to the negative reviews. This is a piece of garbage. I cannot get it to start anymore. Never was easy to start. Always required lots of 'playing' with the know to get the pilot to work.

Q: Like so many others before me :( we cannot get the unit to light. We have tried the AAA battery in the switch compartment but there doesn't appear to be any contacts in there. There is no clicking or indication that the switch is operable. Please advise.

Q: Igniter has the battery and is clicking but it’s not lighting. I have a haft tank of propane. When I press and hold the knob down for 1min I don’t not smell propane. Any idea? It’s brand new

A: Press and turn the control knob to PILOT position (anti-clokwise 90°). (Figure 1) Remember press the control knob for more than 1 minute. See the attached photo.

Q: I am having problems lighting the unit. The igniter button doesn't push in and click the way I expected it to. I returned the original one I had bought because I tried EVERYTHING and now with the second one the button is the same. What am I missing?
