Dangerous & Terrible Quality

I bought two of these back in the spring for nearly twice as much as they're going for now, and it's the worst purchase I've ever made at Canadian Tire.
The stitching on the material was unravelling fresh out of the packaging, and on one of the pockets that the umbrella spokes fit into the stitching had completely disintegrated, rendering it useless. I had to stitch it together myself. As well, the umbrellas are so tall that when you open them, they don't cast shade on anyone ...the shade is a few feet away. And without being able to tilt the umbrella, there is no remedy for this design flaw.
Most importantly, the umbrellas are heavy but will take flight in the slightest wind ...and with such force that it could easily knock people to the ground. These umbrellas are a SAFETY HAZARD for everyone who goes near them. I've been hurt enough times that they have been permanently taken down.
I expect a great deal more from Canadian Tire - such a dangerous and terrible quality product has no business appearing in stores in Canada.

No crank.
But a nice basic unit if paying less than 50$.
