Q: Is the flower pot attached to the pole? I dont necessarily want to use the pot at the base. Is this able to go in the ground without using the pot? I am looking to use this to hang 2 bird feeders and not plants.

A: Yes, the pot is attached to the pole but we filled that pot with landscaping rocks to add stability to the post. Incidentally, the light is very bright and remains on from dusk to dawn..So an impressive product.

Q: Luminaire installé, a été chargé au soleil mais ne s'allume. Devait on faire qqchose afin que le tout s'allume , y avait il une pellicule à enlever ou un interrupteur a activer?

A: Bulb has lasted 2 years so far, but only lights up if it gets enough sun during the day. Does not light in winter.

Q: My husband just put the lamp together today, waited for it to get dark and only the amber light works. When switched to the white light it does not work.

A: I would suggest taking it to Canadian Tire Customer Service or try contacting the customer service for the manufacturer. We never had a problem with the light & neither did my girlfriend that also has one. Sorry that I can’t offer any other suggestions.

Q: I love these as I have 2, but I find the 2-part flower pot at the bottom really hard to put together and they have come apart...any suggestions?

A: My husband did not have any trouble putting it together and ours stay together fine through all the seasons. We put stones about 1/2 full in the pot to give it some strength. This summer I wrapped a pool noodle in the pot and stuck fake flowers in because the sun so hot where it is for plants to survive and thrive.

Q: What's the recommended replacement rechargeable for this fixture???? I'f tried Noma Nickel Cadmium and they burned out overnight and did not recharge.
