Poor quality lamp

I bought this lamp for my desk. When I put the light bulb in, the bulb popped and then the on/off switch didn’t work.
Needless to say I returned it.
This is poor quality.

This desk lamp can handle a 60 watt grow lamp.

Standard desk lamp, however what makes it stand out is it can handle a 60 watt bulb, compared to most that only handle 40 watt bulbs.

Q: Can the For Living Classic Desk Lamp #052-4997-0 be hung on the wall?

A: It does not come with a wall mount, but I guess you can hang it on a wall by either using adhesive hanging strips or drill holes in the base. It weighs just under 2.3 lbs with the bulb inserted.

A: It would really depend on the bulb used in the desk lamp. If the customer uses a halogen light it will warm up more than if an led bulb is used. If it is a concern to the customer please suggest an LED bulb.

Q: Picture shows the lamp has ON\OFF switch at base. I bought 2 of these lamps & found the switch is at back of shade. Can somebody confirm otherwise?
