Good thing I got it at half price! Easy enough to put together, but some of the finish was bubbling, but was at the bottom so I kept it. The stickers they give you to cover the screws do not stick well at all and look very cheap. Overall it is an okay piece for what I need it for, but don't think it will take much to damage it.

Inexpensive storage unit. Quality is poor.

Good for an inexpensive storage piece. The finish is so thin it just peels off with masking tape. Backing if the unit is paperboard. You obviously get what you pay for. There are stickers on the unit. Don't peel them off. The finish gets removed as well.

Q: Does this include mounting hardware to hang it on the wall? We would like to use this as storage above our closet bar at the back door. Can we hang it on the wall?

A: The included mounting hardware is only intended to secure the cabinet top to a wall to prevent it from tipping over (on a child) when sitting on the floor. To mount the cabinet on a wall, screw and glue a piece of 3/8" sanded plywood (same width & height as cabinet) to the back of the cabinet. Then screw the plywood backing to the wall studs using a stud finder. You may paint or stain the exposed plywood backing sheet before gluing and screwing it to the back of the cabinet. Use 1 1/2" course thread drywall screws and pre-drill the holes in the centre of the cabinet panels. Use a piece of 1/2" or 3/4" quarter-round on the perimeter of the cabinet to hide the exposed edges of the 3/8" plywood backing sheet.

A: The only way to prevent this item from collapsing is to attach a 1/4 thick backing. You can also get thicker dowels and glue the square pieces to the sides. Otherwise it will be rocking and eventually brake.

A: Yes, in the box you get 3 backing boards - 1/8 inch thick, each the size of one cube. So you get to rearrange them as you like.

A: This unit would not hold a TV or anything else heavy. Even if secured to the wall, I would not trust it to support anything heavy.
