A: The main light is 150watt and the reading lamp is 40watt. I put a 50/100/150 tri-light in the main lamp and it works great.

Q: How tall is this lamp, including top shade? Trying to determine if it will fit in a lower ceilinged basement apartment. Specs say 6 ft, but does that include top shade? If someone could measure their lamp from floor to top of shade and get back to me that would be great. Thanks.
