NOT DIMMABLE

When looking at the bulbs in-store, package said it was dimmable, but on installation, I quickly discovered that when dimmed, the bulb strobes at what seems to be mains frequency (60Hz), which makes the bulb insanely unusable. Also, as other reviews mention, the protective rubber casing around the bulb was too wide to plug into the bulb socket in my microwave/range hood combo, so i had to shave down the rubber to get it to plug in.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Do not use for microwaves

This bulb is supposed to be used for over the range microwaves, but because of how the bulb is designed, it just falls out. The bulb should be slimmer at the base, so it clicks into the slot in the microwave, but this blub is not slimmer at the base.
