Great design and well made

Going from a single stage TORO to the same thing in the Ego, going uphill with the Ego takes some mental adjustment. The Ego requires lifting the handle, to engage the self propulsion, which is the opposite of the downward or neutral pressure on the TORO,which seems more natural.

This unit blows- just not 45’

This does not come close to shooting snow 45 feet as advertised. Doesn’t matter if I use it as soon as the snow falls or if I let it sit for a while. It shoots it more like 4.5’.

To increase the throwing distance, make sure to keep the chute clear of snow and avoid overloading the blower, as packed or heavy snow can reduce throw distance. Powerful snowblower

Awesome snow blower. Got through 8” of wet heavy snow with no issues (including the really heavy stuff left from the plows at the end of the driveway). Very light with small foot print for storing in the garage.

Surprise!

It was a pleasant surprise how light and efficient this snowblower is. It only took less than an hour to blow the 8 inch snowfall from my 4 car driveway.

Does the job and then some…

I really wasn’t sure how this blower would work for me… but after two heavy storms each with more than 12” of snow. I can safely say this blower is fantastic. Consider me impressed! Our driveway can hold two full sized vehicles, plus the sidewalks in either direction. This blower not only did that but I continued and did two more neighbours driveways and their sidewalks. After all of that the batteries still showed 2/5 lights. Pretty slick. If you’re concerned about power, don’t be - we pushed through some thick snow and it handled it like a champ. Throws it pretty far too! I will consider more EGO products now for sure.

Yes, I recommend this product.
