Used it on the inside of the lids of my Colman coolers as most cooler lids are not insulated. Helps keep the cold in longer. Made it two layers thick for best effect. The remainder I applied to the long runs of the heating ducts in the basement.

Q: Can this be used to wrap/cover metal frames (of a patio door) from the outside to provide insulation? Trying to solve the problem of ice/frost forming on the inside of the metal frames when it's -30 out.

A: I used it on the bottom of my O/H garage door exterior side, siliconed it on and painted it the same colour as the door. It does help to keep the ice off the inside.
