  • A: Yes you install the short adapter to your unit then use on of the pipe lenght to go through the thimble

Q: Hi. What are the gaskets made of on each length. Red silicone or are they a fibrous rope seal? And what is the clearance to combustibles listed on the stickers? 1" or 3"? Thanks

  • A: Fibrous rope. I painted the vent so stickers are not visible anymore but I did install it closer than 3 inch so it most probably said 1"

Q: do I drill a 3 in. hole in the or a bit larger. Is the pipe 3 in. OD

  • A: What are you asking? In the… what? Wall?  If you’re asking the hole you need through the wall, then the answer is: if I remember right, you need an 8” hole through the wall.  Also, if you search online, you’ll find installation instructions from the manufacturer. Easy to find.
