Garbage

Bought the product to clean the vent. Got it in to about the 7.5’ mark and the brush disconnected. Taped a coat hook to the end to get it out. One of the poles snapped off. Now looking at a $200 bill to get it out. Waste of money.

Dryer vent brush cleaner

I recommend getting this clean device because most house fires are started because of clogged and dirty dryer vents. I was shocked and amazed how much went was taken out of the vent system well worth the money.

Did The Job

Flexible length adjustment, all 4 sections plus a brush attachment, total approximately 8 feet. Use 1 section, 2, 3 or all 4, it's up to you. Did the job. Only concern, the screw/threaded section(s) is fairly short and feels a bit flimsy, especially if you have turns to navigate or a blockage to work through. Fortunately, my (metal) vent/exhaust track was relatively clean, so I had no issues ... but just something to keep in mind.

Worked great. Don’t run the drill backwards. Tape all connections. Advance gradually, pulling out after meeting resistance to bring out the lint. Regular cleaning is a good idea. I bought a second kit to reach all the way in.

Cleans more than just ducts

I actually didn't buy this to clean ducts. I needed a flexible bristle round brush to help clean the inside of air tanks. This kit was perfect. The brush popped through the 2in opening no problem and did a fantastic job of cleaning rust and oil sludge from the bottom of the tanks. I also used a pressure washer and a good degreaser. I didn't need the full 8ft extension so it was handy that they were screw together pieces. Afterwards the brush cleaned up as good as new and now it's ready for the next awkward cleaning job.
