Q: will this work on rustolium 2x
2 years agoA: Thoroughly clean surface. Lightly abrade Rust-Oleum 2X coating wet or dry with 280-320 grit abrasive. Re-clean and dry surface. Shake can thoroughly for a minimum of 2 minutes before application. Apply 2-3 light coats. Allow 5 to 10 minutes flash off time between coats. Ensure first coat is light and allow the full 10 minutes flash time. This should minimize the possibility of solvent attack of the Rust-Oleum from occurring.

3 years agoA: Exposure of cured acrylic paint should not exceed 60 to 65°C on a continuous basis. Short exposures up to 90°C may be tolerated.

3 years agoA: Dominion Sure Seal LTD Instant Clear-Coat Hi-Gloss Finish, 340-g is not suitable for use on headlight restoration. There are specialty clearcoat systems designed specifically for this application.

Q: My base color is red and the clear coat applied made reduced the shine. Will Dominion Sure Seal High Gloss instant clear increase the shine before polish is applied?
