Not good on carpet

It works ok for bare floors but not on carpet. It was inexpensive but I needed to get another vacuum to do my carpets.

Garbage vaccum

After the first few months the power button is stuck on so I can’t shut it off and on. The switch on the handle broke off in the first week. It overheats after 20 minutes of use. The hose attachment for hair is junk. After less than a year it just randomly stopped working. Wouldn’t buy again.
No, I do not recommend this product.

J’ai acheté le produit au mois d’août 2022. Elle a rendu l’âme en mai. J’ai tout essayé… rien ne fonctionne.
Canadian Tire me dit de faire affaire avec Dirt Devil directement. J’ai appelé à plusieurs reprises sans succès. On ne retourne pas mes appels. J’ai essayé le CHAT , on me dit qu’il n’y a aucun agent en ligne, peu importe l’heure.
J’ai envoyé un courriel. C’est vraiment frustrant. Pour ma part, Dirt Devil….c’est terminé.

A: Hi Sue62, Thank you for reaching out ! The Dirt Devil Featherlite Canister 2 Vacuum has amazing suction power, however it wouldn't be your best choice for pet hair removal. Especially if you have carpets and upholstered furniture, a motorized powerhead will work more in your favour. One of my recommendations would be the Dirt Devil Max Pet Rewind Upright Vacuum, it's great for getting your pet hair out of carpets and with the additional accessories, such as the TurboClaw Pet Hair Tool - helps getting hair off your furniture's. Q: is this model using the same HEPA filter (F95) as the ALL-RED model (SD40120CA, which looks slightly diff.)? Pls. be more consistent w. product details, no comparance poss. without the REAL model#. The CT prod# can't be used finding the vacuum elsewhere
