I used this to seal RV leaks and its doesnt get stiff with cold or melt with heat when handling. I now use it as a seal around windows when we redid a room. Ive used it to seal areas to prevent mice in winter as they cant chew this stuff or simply dont like it. Ive used it on a 24 inch crack in fiberglass and its still holds after 3 yrs.Butyl does nt need more puddy. Its easy to handle and when Ive had to add a screww it will seal the hole I just made.....great product
