Not as simple as you would think to fit this item.

The insulated hose wrap is too long for my Delonghi portable air conditioner. Why did delonghi make a the insulating hose longer than the hose supplied with their air conditioner? So you will have to fold the hose back over itself to fit the 5” hose supplied with the EL375HGRKC-3AL WH air conditioner. Tut tut….
It is also one of the most expensive insulating hose available on n the market; if it does the job, I will be happy.

Super helpful product for increasing efficiency!

I've been using this product for a few months now. I found that as soon as I installed it on my a/c's exhaust hose, the unit works much more efficiently. Before, I could feel so much heat coming off the hose and it couldn't cool my room very well, but now, I can't feel any heat at all, even during heatwaves. The reason why I set it at 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish it came in different sizes. All I needed for mine was about 2 feet, but when I installed it full size, I had the a/c really far from the window and the manual says that the hose should be extended as little as possible. Also, it was an eye sore and in the way. So, I cut what I needed and will give my friend the rest. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and really grateful that a company came up with this product because these units are not the most efficient.

The cover is a little longer than the hose, had to fold it inside of itself to make it fit properly. the cover does insulate very well. i would purchase it again if i ever need another.
