Danze Bathroom Faucet

Nicely designed and good looking. A lot of thought went into the design of this faucet. Especially noteworthy is the retaining nut that tightens the faucet to the countertop… rather than a traditional nut it is a plastic piece that can be hand tightened. This is terrific since you don’t need a plumber’s wrench to tighten it. It’s hard to get a big wrench in behind the sink when you’re working on your back trying to get behind the basin. Also, don’t use Teflon tape on the threads of the supply tubes because even a little bit of excess tape will plug the flow restricters and reduce the flow to a trickle. The instructions don’t call for Teflon tape but I used it anyway - wrong !!! Had to redo it without the tape and it didn’t leak at all. My only minor complaint is that the faucet is a little overpriced at $165. For that money you’re getting into the realm of Moen, Delta and American Standard.

Nice faucet

I got this hoping it would extend the water stream far enough that when I washed hands it wouldn't splash on the back of the vanity. This worked! No more water on the backside of the vanity as the waterfall goes to the middle of the sink, not the back.
