This type of coupler does not bolt onto a trailer's frame the same way that a standard coupler does. It uses a pair of bolts to mount onto an adjustable eye channel to allow for easy height adjustment. The two attachment bolts also provide greater stability and less rattle - This CURT adjustable channel coupler features a cast design with a simple latch. It comes with a durable carbide black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance and has a gross trailer weight capacity of 15,000 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 2,250 lbs. It is designed to fit a 2-5/16" diameter trailer ball. All CURT couplers include a limited lifetime warranty and feature a lockable latch to give you peace of mind.
