5 years agoA: While the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S is a great 12-month tire (as was the Discoverer A/Tw), it is meant to be run year-round. The Discoverer A/T3 4S does not provide the level of snow and ice traction that the Discoverer Snow Claw does. If you live in an area the regularly falls below 7°C, we recommend a dedicated set of winter tires like the Discoverer Snow Claw. The Discoverer A/T3 4S is a great alternative for those who are unwilling to deal with 2 sets of tires, or who can stay in when there is a winter weather advisory. However, if you’re looking for optimal winter performance, Cooper would urge you to outfit your vehicle with the NEW Discoverer Snow Claw tires
