The Cooper Discoverer® EnduraMax™ All Weather Tire For Passenger & CUV handles rough and poorly maintained roads with ease. Designed for SUVs, crossovers, and pickups, the durable tread technology resists quick wear and resists chips and cuts. The four circumferential grooves effectively evacuate water and slush, reducing the risk of hydroplaning, while the sawtooth grooves enhance grip in snow. The sipes maintain traction on slippery surfaces, delivering performance in any weather.

Mud And Snow Rated

The M+S symbol differentiates an All-Season tire from a Summer only tire. While rated for light snow, they will not match a winter tire for traction or stopping distance on snow and ice.

Good all weather tires but worse fuel economy

They are good in the wet and snow. But fuel economy is 15% worse than my last all weather tires.

Not quite as good as the BFG tires they replaced

After 3,000 kms definitely as smooth and comfortable a and fuel efficient as the all weather BFG advantage sport TA tires these replaced. Which is a surprise because the Cooper’s tread is less aggressive and the tread is also less wide, so it seems like they should have less drag. Unfortunately BFG discontinued my tire size and so I gave these Coopers a shot. They grip well enough in the dry and wet so I’ll give them 4 stars, but with their lower fuel economy and more coarse ride I just hope they are as good as the BFG in the snow,

Q: Anybody tried these on a Honda Odyssey Van 05. Wondering what they are like in northern climate and rural dirt roads. looking for something durable that can do longer drives and some secondary or dirt roads. Or does anyone recommend anything else

A: I have tried it on Nissan Pathfinder for over 6 months now. They have been doing good under extremely low temperatures with Nitrogen filled-in, however I had a burst on a secondary road. The wear and tear is normal. At high speed, depending upon the road conditions, they may become a bit noisy, but overall I am a satisfied customer.

Q: CT, you need to update the specs on your website. Your info says that these tires are M&S only and not winter rated. If you zoom in on the sidewall, you can clearly see the mountain and snowflake symbol. So these are actually winter tire rated.
