Stopped working as soon as I plugged it in. There was a pop and that was it, never even had a chance to use it. Must have been a defective unit. Hopefully some else has better luck

How did that happen?

When I tried to charge my iphone 16 pro which is 5 GB it became 3GB as shown on my phone. I got scared so I unplugged it as soon as I noticed to prevent possible damage or changes in my phone's ability. I did not know that i can directly charge my phone to the electrical plug provided by the resort in Cebu Philippines. I got my 5 GB back. I can not use my hair straightener using this product.

This converter/adapter blew my straightener so not impressed with it . My daughters converter much better as it handled straighteners & blow dryers without any issues

Q: Will this converter work with a 120 volt Dremel ?

A: Further to my question, the converter has been plugged into an outlet in England. The Dremel only turned at the 10 setting and slowly. A multimeter in AC voltage mode showed an output voltage reading on the converter of 50.41 volts. The converter was set to "converter" and "Europe".
