Q: Do I still use a hand mitt to wash the car if I use the foam sprayer, or just rinse off after foaming?
4 years agoA: What any of these foam guns or foam cannons do is to prepare the surface for a good normal wash. If your vehicle has quite a bit of dirt or salt etc. on it rinse it first. Then foam the car from top to bottom. Let it stand for a couple minutes but don’t let it dry on. Have your 2 bucket car wash ready to go before you foam. Wash the car with the foam still on from top to bottom rinsing the wash mitt after every panel. I usually start with the hood, very light pressure don’t scrub hard. The foam already on the car makes it easier to wash without scratching. I find tha after the foam, wash and gentle pressure dry with a good quality drying towel, the vehicle looks shinier than just a wash and dry. A foam cannon will lay down thicker, clingy foam but this foam gun works too.

Q: What type of soap does it take? Do you need to use Chemical Guys products or are there alternatives?
4 years agoA: You can use any car wash soap...I use Chemical Guys but any will do.

4 years agoA: As it works on domestic water pressure, i would say you'll be disappointed. There are other foam cannons available that attach to a pressure washer if you have one.

4 years agoA: The TORQ Foam Blaster 6 Foam Gun can be easily attached to your garden hose. No extra attachments required. The TORQ Professional MAX Foam Cannon would be used for a pressure washer.

Q: What size o rings does this use.I think that’s why mine leaks?
4 years agoA: There is one O Ring that can be found inside the quick connect and it is embedded at the mid point. The size is 7/8" diameter X 1/16".
