Q: Can I use high mileage Castrol on my 2007 mazda3 5w20

This information can be found in the vehicles owner’s manual or by contacting the manufacturer directly. When deciding on a formulation, you need to take into consideration factors such as, what type of conditions do you drive in? What kind of protection are you looking for? What is the manufacturer recommending? According to Castrol’s lubrication guide recommended for the 2007 Mazda3 4-cyl (non-Turbo model) is 5W-20 motor oil certified by the American Petroleum Institute. Castrol GTX High Mileage 5W-20 meets the requirements of this engine and can be used with confidence.

Castrol Transmax Import Multi-Vehicle ATF and Castrol Transmax Full Synthetic Multi-Vehicle ATF both meet Hyundai SP-III specifications and either of the two fluids may be used in your application.

Castrol always recommends following the guidelines of the original engine manufacturer for the recommended grade and API specific to your application. This information can be found in the vehicles owner’s manual or by contacting the manufacturer directly.As per Castrol's Lubrication Guide, for a 2009 Hyundai Sonata, you may use either 5W-20 or 5W-30 motor oil. Any of Castrol's formulations in either of these two viscosities would be suitable for use on this engine.

When motor oil is in use in an engine, motor oil additives will break down as they perform their job.
