Yes, there are holes in the planters for drainage. The small planter has 2 holes and the large player has 4 holes. 3 years agoA: Hello Ssbb, the product is intended to be used year-round. We recommend storing the Privacy Screen in a dry, safe area when not in use or when harsh weather is expected.

Q: Do you need to put this against a wall or can it be out in open to create a stand alone privacy screen
2 years agoA: We have ours set up stand-alone but we needed to put a pretty heavy weight (cement cinder block) as well as soil into the bottom planter box to hold it against the wind that sometimes whips through our back yard.
