Extremely Disappointed – Poor Quality Canopy and Lack of Support

I’ve owned this gazebo since 2016 and have had to replace the canopy nearly every single year due to it falling apart from basic sun exposure. The material consistently deteriorates after just one season, which makes this an extremely costly and frustrating purchase in the long run. I also had to replace the netting in 2021, and unsurprisingly, that too fell apart after a couple of seasons.
Despite investing hundreds of dollars into the original purchase and replacement parts, customer service refuses to offer any support, citing a 12-month warranty—even though this is clearly an ongoing product quality issue. It feels like Sunjoy is aware of the problem but chooses to push the burden onto loyal customers.
Save yourself the money and hassle—look for a gazebo that stands behind its quality. This one is not built to last, and support from the company is disappointingly limited.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Have you any hints for getting the canopy on the Havana Gazebo. We can get 3 corners on easily enough, but the last corner won't get within an inch of the end of the canopy frame???? We need your advice please. Should we put it on wet?

A: Instead of trying to stretch the fabric over the corner, remove one of the poles, then stick the end into the corner and and re-attach the pole. Much easier to manipulate the metal pole then the fabric.

Q: Has the product been improved since 2022? Previous versions were good but when I bought it in 2022, it sagged and allowed rain water to pool which had to be pushed out after every rainfall.

Q: Hello, The original top fit tight, didn’t sag or collect water. The replacement top collects water in 8 locations and the drain locations aren’t any help. The frame has been bolted to the deck always. Would like a refund.

A: What baloney. Yesterday we struggled for an hour to try to get that replacement Havana canvas top on our gazebo. There was absolutely no way. Fortunately we found the receipt (March 2020) and we returned it last night at Canadian tire. Yesterday when I looked on the website, I noticed our store had two Havana gazebo tops in stock. Today after we returned ours yesterday, I know they have three in stock..

Q: Gazebo Top for 10 x 10, Do the corner poles have pole pockets When putting the roof on, the longer poles have pockets to fit into. Does this Gazebo top have them.

Q: Will be purchasing our fourth to original fit fine, second very tight hard to put on but good third very loose pockets water would formed on sides and to push up to drain water eventually pokes a whole thru it So hopefully this year is good

A: I think the issue is less with the canvas top than with the gazebo itself. Over time, the metal structure changes shape, some sagging in the centre and corners a little out of line. Still and all a great option. I love m’y gazrebo.

Q: What is the package dimension size? Could the sum of the 3 dimension be less than 62 inches? I want to buy this for self-use in another country. So I would need it to be packaged as a luggage. Do you have any suggestion on any other Gazebo that would fit my requirement? Thank You

Q: Havana 9.4 x 9.4 ft The Havana Gazebo I bought from CTC 3 years ago actually measures 9.4 x 9.4 and NOT 10x10. Will the listed gazebo canopy fit this unit, or have I got to start all lover and search for my top elsewhere?
