A: This water filter can be used for applications where one requires in-line fresh water filtration from a garden hose connection. Should you choose to use this to fill a hot tub, it will help filter impurities in the water. However, please note this filter will not act as a substitute to balancing and properly treating the water in your hot tub prior to use – you will need to ensure your hot tub has safe levels of calcium and hard metals to avoid discolouration of the water and damaging your hot tub.

Q: Is the filter replaceable? Is the filter cartridge replaceable, or do you have to buy a whole new unit each time?

A: The filter cartridge is not replaceable but should last an entire RV season.
