This caulking is not good because it does not self level as it should. Must have been too old.

Terrible sealant!

Does not go on smooth and seal nicely at all! Very very difficult to work with! Paid $90 for 4 tubes of worthless sealant! Very disappointed in it! Will never buy again!

Q: Could i use this around my roof vent on my pop-up trailer? Does it become sticky in the heat of summer?

  • A: Don’t use the stuff from Camco; it’s garbage. Read the single star reviews. They are all true. Go to an RV dealer and get DICOR brand caulking. I’ve used it many times and it’s great. This Camco stuff won’t gun right because of air bubbles within it and it comes out like warm chewing gum. Stringy.

Q: Can I use this to fill a lag bolt hole on the roof of my home?

1 Answer
  • A: The self-levelling sealant should not be used for this application by simply using the product to fill the hole. This is a levelling product and the sealant would flow through the hole. However, if a proper patch is fashioned over the hole, this sealant will work excellent to seal the ‘lap’ joints of the patch to the roof.
