Missing four screws

The vent I purchased was also from Camco, so I expected this kit to include sufficient screws for the installation. This kit is four screws short.

It says complete kit but does not include screws or butyl tape. This is wrong Camco and is false advertising, and for the money I spent, it should include this! Is everyone trying to scam people out of money now!

Q: Exactly what size are the vents? In reading 2 answers staff has said they are 18"x18" and the other says it fits a standard 14 X 14 opening. Which is right?

A: This replacement/retrofit roof vent is described as a 14-by-14 vent in reference to its standard vent size fitment. 14” by 14” is not the “true” physical dimension of the vent, but is a reference to the cut-out required to install the vent on an RV. The physical outer dimensions of this roof vent are 17 x 16.9 x 6.3 inches. As far as we can tell, the previous dimensions provided of 18x18x8 are actually the dimensions of the box the vent comes in.

Q: Sizes Are there different sizes of vents? The vent that I need to replace is for sure smaller then that. Hoping to not have to cut the hole bigger as I'm not sure yet how the roof is constructed

A: This vent is 18" x 18" x 8" and is currently the only size we carry.

Q: does this include the screen and crank? Dimensions?

A: This does come with the screen and the crank to raise the lid. It is also complete with a 1 ½” deep interior garnish. It fits a standard 14” x 14” opening. Since this has been the standard vent opening since vents have been used, there should be no problem using this as a replacement vent assembly.
